I'm not a botanist or even a biologist, but I believe this would be described as the attachment points of leaflets to petiole of a multifoliate (seven) palmately compound leaf. If not, please feel free to offer a correction. This, a view of the underside of the structure. Nikon D810, reversed Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens on PB-6 bellows. Stack of 120 frames at 55-micron focus steps, f/4, 1/25-second. About 2.5X. Aligned and merged in Affinity Photo, with tweaks in LR6.
