Not only house flies, years ago in Tanzania I learned that tsetse flies are heavily attracted by blue and the simpler targets to kill them were just a blue fabric square impregnated with insecticide. Wearing blue jeans is not advisable in tsetse territories (their proboscis are able to bite through them)

The same is true of South American biting flies. Blue jeans are a big mistake. Black isn't too good either.

Zebra stripes have evolved as fly-disruptors!

Probably all flies like the blue color and dislike the zebra stripes.
