Here two photos of a Varroa destructor, a pest of Bees, and one of the nightmare of the Beekeepers.

Dead specimen, size approx 1.3mm

Nikon CFI Plan 10x + Canon 70-200 F4 IS
Each photo is composed of a stack of 80 photos.

Nice images. I had to Google this critter. Another Asian import into North America. Luckily, so far the Marmorated stink bug and Emerald ash borer are not here... yet.
