Silicon wafer taken with Nikon MM 5x-A

Post by Monkeyhanger »

Hi,
Silicon wafer taken with Nikon MM 5x-A
No.1 at full size No.2 at 100% crop.Sharpened with Topaz Denoise.
Been using wafer supplied by Macro_Cosmos.It has been very useful for comparing different objectives and lighting setups.
Highly recommended.
The images look sharper on Flickr :( and sharper still on my iMac.

Very nice. Is that on an APS sensor?

Yes, taken with a sony a6400 vertically mounted. Led lighting diffused through a polystyrene cup.
