Hello Rik,

Berezin.com probably does not exist (no more).
I have already tried to contact them but without success :-(

But I have found this one:
https://www.instructables.com/Make-your ... r-to-view/

I strongly suggest to look harder for viewers that use mirrors, not prisms.

The reasons are explained here: https://www.photomacrography.net/forum/ ... hp?t=29932 .

I notice that, today, Amazon in USA is offering the same viewer that I pointed to, and it's listed as being in stock: https://www.amazon.com/Stereo-Wide-View ... 07DQT8QD6/ .

On eBay it is https://www.ebay.com/itm/Stereo-Side-by ... 3200270943 .

Search string in both cases was just stereo viewer , followed by scanning the rather long result sets.

I have no idea about availability elsewhere in the world.

For what it's worth, I just now called the phone number listed on the https://www.berezin.com/ website.

The fellow that I reached said that they are still in business.

Did you try ordering, with no response, or did they not respond to an email or something like that?

Hello Rik,
Many thanks for the info and the links!
BTW, berezin.com doesn’t answer to the emails,
the contact-form cannot connect to the server
and shipping-calculator doesn’t work
https://www.berezin.com/cgi-bin/foxweb. ... /storeship

I will try contacting Berezin to be sure they know about these problems. But I need to be sure what you're seeing.

For me the shipping calculator link responds with "404 - File or directory not found." Is that the same problem you have?

I tried to find a "contact-form", but all I found like that there was a link at https://www.berezin.com/3d/feedback2.htm labeled "contact us". That link points to the same page so clicking on it just sort of invisibly refreshes the page. Exactly what contact-form were you trying to use?

Hi Rik,

1.) The URI of the shipping-calculator:
https://www.berezin.com/cgi-bin/foxweb. ... /storeship

and the response:
“404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.”

2.) The URI of the contact-form:
https://www.berezin.com/3d/FeedbackOld.htm

response:
“FrontPage Run-Time Component Page
You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.
This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.
Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page.”

3.) Email-address:
3d@berezin.com

no response

Best,
ADi

The name in the URI, "FeedbackOld" suggests a page that is not intended to work any more.

Was that URI returned by a search engine, or does it appear someplace on another berezin.com page that looks active, and if so, what is the URI of that page?

I'm sorry to pester you with all these details, but if I'm going to tell somebody that their website is broken, I'd like to know that it really is broken and not just some stale link in a search engine cache.

Hi Rik,

first “Home”: https://www.berezin.com/3d/

then -> „Services“ : https://www.berezin.com/3d/services.htm

then: “For more information on these and other services please contact us.“
The link attached to the “contact us” goes to: https://www.berezin.com/3d/FeedbackOld.htm

But the biggest problem is the email. No answer :-(

Hello everyone,
I haven't found any dealer in EU so far,
so I'm going to try to make such viewer myself.
Does anyone know the technical parameters of such stereo viewer?

Thank you in advance.

Have you considered instead acquiring a high powered zooming stereo viewer designed for maximal examination of surveillance photos by the military industrial complex?

There'a no kill like overkill (unless you want it to actually work in which case this is probably a bad option).

It's not the best picture, but maybe this will help?

Note that these units have a slider in the middle, that adjusts the tilt of the outer mirrors. I have shown it here in its two extreme positions. More adjustment than this would be better.
