I also picked one up recently, someone had inadvertently removed the df shell from it via mistreatment (shell was bent so it wouldnt even go back on)--they do unscrew with enough work apparently. I'm amazed it still produces a good image.

I haven't measured the WD, the MPlanFl 50/0.80 has 1mm WD

My subjective impression is that the WD is bigger than 1mm :-)

BTW, I had to saw off a cylinder of the Oly NeoSplan 80x / 0.75
