Little Fly with Mites

Caught this little fly in my kitchen. Looked at it with a loupe, but I couldn't see the mites. I thought that was dust particles or something. I didn't realize they were mites until I had the fly positioned in front of the 20X objective.

I don't know if the little ones are baby mites or different species

Sony a7R II + Oly LMPlanFl 20/0.40 + Apo-Gerogon 150 @16.6X .

Really cool image. Reminds me of the poem by Augustus De Morgan:

Big fleas have little fleas upon their backs to bite 'em,

Thank you, Lothar! There were actually another couple of small mites, which are not seen in the picture. Poor fly indeed
