first use ... works fine (the picture needs corrections .. transparencies, debris...) but I was anxious to see the result

That's excellent. Your fancy diffusers are paying off well.

Yup, the fly would have benefited from some cleaning and retouching/editing, but your new diffusing system seems to work great.

Agree your diffusion device is working nicely.

I would give this a try if only I had a 3D printer

Maybe Santa is listening

Hello Mawyatt...
I'm not using the rings I designed.. did not print yet.
It's the "Matryoshka"
The last layer is only a complete sheet around everything to isolate any possible ambient reflections from the frame, the window or anything else in the room

I have 3 *.STL files ready to print the diffuser supports but this month I already over passed the budget for the hobby...

---

I will never buy a 3D printer (last year I was very tempted)
It was so easy and reasonable to order online a prototype, and I got it 2-3 working days later .. and they did all the dirty job.
I will never print a volume of objects to justify the cost of a printer, materials..the time it consumes etc...
The 3D printers are fascinating, but today there are so many offers for online printing ..
Unless it is for hobby and personal satisfaction of course... that I understand.

That's very sensible and self-disciplined of you. Wish I had your self-restraint!
