Im seriously considering this as a large wallprint for out living room. what do you guys think?

This is an excellent image, worthy of displaying.
I always love these extreme magnifications.
Very nice clean-up job too.

If you decide to hang it on a wall, rotate the image 90 clockwise.
The lower left ridge looks like an eyelid and the hairs like eyelashes (strange how we always tend to use anthropomorphism on bugs...)

Quite spectacular!

I believe it would make a great poster-sized photo on a living room wall, or perhaps on the wall of a wealthy office building..

Very nice photo. The before and after image helps a lot in appreciating the amount of clean up work you did to get the image looking so flawless.

meanwhile it's become my default phone wallpaper (nice call on the 90 degree turn, I hadn't thought of it)

As always your work is impressive and very motivational. Your time spent on the post work is definitely paying off. A large print of this (or any high magnification) shot would make a great addition to room. Pretty soon you will run out of wall real estate.

Great image
... wall shot? ... taste specific I think .... defiantly a keeper, possibly use for photo-montage with other images [there is a market for these types of shots]

I think the previous question was technical - How did you clean the Image?
Before & after comparison shots don't explain your process , which I think everybody now seeing both images, want to know.

Using photoshop, manually cleaning everything, clone, content aware fill, healing brush etc. took about 2-3 hours in total as I remember it.

I have previously offered to record a retouching session and posting it as a video but there was zero interest so I just show before/after if people ask.

I think there was interest, but a lot of people might of felt it such a daunting task, they thought it was beyond them.

PLEASE post the video!

I'm Sure it will get a enthusiastic response.

Hopefully, a lot more photos submitted will look as good as yours, for the fact that you showed people how to go about it.

Count me among the people who would like to see the video.

I'm fairly experienced at cleaning up stacking artifacts, but I suspect this sort of "beauty treatment" is a whole different business.
