Beetle wing cover, 20x

Hi all

I found a large beetle with some nice textures on its wing covers (whats the correct term). I took some field shots and brought it home for a few stacks.

Very nice!

The wing covers are called "elytra" (singular "elytron").

Tak for kommentaren, det går støt frem af

har fået købt et lille ikea bord hvor jeg kan have det stående fremme hele tiden så det er lidt lettere at komme i gang når man har tid

Yes, I'm really loving my 10x and 20x mitu lenses, they rarely let me down
