Hi Jody,

a beautiful large scale.
Nice exposure.
The impression of sharpness is not quite as good in my opinion.
The sharpness falls off.
If you are using the MP-E in the Studio.

I'm using the Mark II, here I put a live view in the Studio.
then, the mirror is flipped up.
And activate live view option "silent trigger".
This can bring the decisive focus,
even if they use no Flash.
When using Flash, then put the Flash on the curtain.
Shortest shutter speed not exceeding 1/200.
What software use to the stacking?
A picture that I have seen I like.

My tired eyes aren't what they used to be. I put my reading glasses on and see how out of focus this is now! lol

Thank you for the critique and suggestions, much appreciated. I guess I had better start wearing glasses when editing from now on.

Personally I'd bet on motion-blurred. 1/5 second is about the worst possible shutter speed for picking up camera shock. As Michael mentions, EFSC can solve this problem if the camera has it. I'm not sure this is available on the 1D Mark III, but typically this is called something like "live view silent mode". When working properly, there should be no clicking sounds until after the exposure is completed. It's easy to check this with a long exposure, like say 2 seconds.

Thanks Rik, I did some tests and apparently my camera doesn't have it as the images were even worse. I made a piece of wood to fit the camera and the foot of the MPE.

This looks better.
Unfortunately, you've written any data.
Shutter speed... etc. Flash, LED
You can see here called Mikroskulpuren,
This is always a good sign.

Also the correct programming of the Stackshot is important.
Example:

1. Mirror flap
2. Wait approximately 3-5 seconds
3. Trigger
4. Stackshot drive
5. Wait 4-5 seconds
1. etc.

This is an example...
Above all steps in a building can
just like me, a wooden floor create vibrations.
Also the same at doors and Windows close.
As well as motor vehicles, railway.
Longer shutter speeds swallow again
Vibrations through the CAP.
2 Seconds shutter speed in General.
