I saved this poor little fella from a horrible death. I found him being drug by an Ichneumon Wasp. She had already stung him and was looking for a place to bury him.
Also of note, I read about the ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning the bugs so I bought one. I also read on here about the fine hairs matting after cleaning, so what I did to the spider above was use straight isopropyl alcohol in the cleaner, no water or soap. Seems to work well. The image above has almost no retouching whatsoever other than sensor boogers removed from the background.

Hi Jody,.
a very nice Studiostack for us here show.
The exposure and the sharpness impression you have reached with 4 LED lamps is very good.
Also micro sculptures can be seen in part.
I like the perspective of the image.
Just below I would maybe not with have the leg in the image installed and here may be
cropped.
But this is a matter of taste.
Greeting
Michael

I am not sure that an ultrasonic shake down in a bath of rubbing alcohol is a much better ending from the spider's perspective. Perhaps if you had used grain alcohol...I saved this poor little fella from a horrible death.
