Very interesting! And well shot, as always.

Those tufts of hair should be pretty distinctive if there happens to be anybody here who recognizes them. But it would improve your odds of ID if we had just a simple whole-body shot also.

Based on the head and front legs, I think it is a scarabeid, maybe Phyllophaga or something similar.

Those tufts of hair on the front legs are possibly pheromone glands. If so, this is probably a male beetle. I've seen tufts like these on red flour beetle males, but this is not a flour beetle.

Good work!

This is a species of Onthophagus (a dung beetle). Don't know if all of them have these tufts but I recall having seen it many times in various species.

For a more precise ID it would probably be necessary to study the beetle more closely. However, a complete dorsal view might be helpful.
