This is on a green grasshopper (more to come as far as what it looks like, just didn't get all of the stacks done.) Seems to have real long feather like protrustions out the back, probably about 1/2 inch or so in length, seen here in this photo.
I used a canon 5dmk II, 1.4x converter, 68mm extension tubes, 135mm macro at f.7, reversed 50mm at f6.3. ISO 320 at 1/200 s. Stack of 16 in ZS and sharpened in PSCS4.
I thought it was way interesting up close on this hopper, unfortunately this is as close as my equipment allows me to get - and my remote shutter cable went out on me so it took a bit longer.
I also found out my sensor REALLY needs cleaned, in a bad way.
