Spiked Shieldbug with prey

Spiked Shieldbugs (Picromerus bidens) mostly feed on larvae and caterpillars. This one caught a Nematus miliaris larva.
Cano R7, 100 mm macro, manual focus in live-view, tripod and cable release.

Impressive! I often see bugs in this group doing the same thing. They can catch quite large caterpillars.
