Really lovely pictures-you have quite a skill! Neophyte here-curious to know with respect to the Robberfly with a Gnat kill. You said you did a Shallow Stack of 2 images. How? Did you do that in the field with a handheld? For example you took 2 sequential shots slightly moving the camera forward? Or via a rail?

the shallow stack was from the first technique you described - 2 sequential single (non-burst) shots moving forward ever so slightly.
