current dose of macro photography ;)
Hello,
in this thread I would like to post my photos, which I take during my trips (most often in the morning and evening), all photos in this thread were taken outdoors.
I'd like to use your feedback to develop my skills.

Fabulous photos, cannot offer any assistance as I only just joined this group to learn myself.
Can you tell me what equipment you used i.e. camera and lens.

So I succeeded, after many years of efforts, probably one of the groundbreaking stages of macro photography for me.
Today it presents something from the hardcore "art" of macro photography.
A photo taken outdoors on a live model on such a large scale.
I've had a few large-scale photos of living objects, but this one beats them all.
7:1 scale
Olympus OM-1 ISO800 1/15
Polarisation Filter
Stacked from 172 images

Re: current dose of macro photography ;)
Very nice!
I see ISO 800 @ 1/15 second, and water droplets on the eyes.
So, I am thinking a cool morning, while the insect is still at rest from the night. If not that, then when?
I also see 7:1 and 172 frames.
What lenses? Focus stepped using internal focusing by the camera, or with a rail of some sort?

Re: current dose of macro photography ;)
many thanks!
that was not so cold but enought to chill fly during morning - about 14 degree (oC)
Internal focusing is not possible at scale like that
its DIY speed rail - allows me to take 8-10 pics/sec
