Here is a new one for me. I did not know that some solitary bees will bed down on a flower. I am use to them clamping onto a stem or a flower like this European Wool Carder Bee.

For three days in a row I saw a Sweat Bee in a Geranium flower, in the exact same flower and exact same place, and even saw the critter land one evening and turn around to get into position. Twice I tried to get a shot that got stuck in my head the first time I saw it get comfortable, and twice the bee took off. It's been really hot here lately, 24C (75F) at 6AM, so it was pretty easy for it to get active. But on the third morning I managed a few frames before it took off, and got the composition that was stuck in my head into the camera:

So now I have one more place to look for a critter -the more I think I know the more I realize I have a lot to learn...

Very nice pictures.
I like the colors and the soft, directional light.
