Carnivorous flower?

Post by pawelfoto »

The European treefrog (Hyla arborea) is fully protected in Poland. This individual was about 3 cm long. The frog simply took refuge from the sun in the flower cup.

Wonder if it's a good place for attracting insects too (being a flower 'n' all)? Low-effort lunch in the shade...

Pleasant and interesting shots, either way.

Cheers
