In the UK we are allowed 1 hour exercise daily in our 'locality' during current C'virus lockdown. The Langdyke Trust's, Swaddywell Reserve is 5 minute's drive from my home so I drove there on Saturday ... armed with a Leica X Vario APS-C camera and a Leica E52 7 diopter achromatic close-up lens. 'Incidental to my walk' around the reserve I took a few snaps including this unknown fly approx 5mm in length spotted on a cliff face.
Can someone possibly provide a generic ID please? Thank you.
X Vario / 46mm (69mm FF equis.) / 7 diopter Elpro 52 ISO 200 1/400 f14 ... ... and cropped
Best wishes

Thank you … Tachinid will suffice for the purposes of submitting to a local camera club's critique group. Main purpose is to illustrate the potential of the E 52 Elpro 7 diopter achromat. The weakest link is the camera's autofocus - the face being unsharp - but the camera's manual focus mode with the addition of e.g. a Zacuto finder could improve the focus' 'hit rate'.
