Several UK Bee images.

Post by testudo man »

Ive just stumbled onto this forum, so this would be my 1st post/thread here.

For these Bee images of mine, i used a Panasonic FZ50/Raynox 250. Onboard camera flash/Home made Pringles Diffuser.
For this camera setup, i always shoot with the same settings, as in - F/11, 1/200, ISO 100.
Handheld, AF, Jpegs, Basic PP/Editing. Single image (ive never stacked images, so far!)...perhaps i will try stacking one day!

I try not to crop into my images (the FZ50 is only 10 megapixels!) so these days, most of my images are uncropped...but, if i do crop, i will mention this.
Bees were wild, doing their thing, shot in my garden/yard.

Several images, cheers Paul.

Solitary Bees on Fleabane, 2nd image down, it had been raining, so the Bees were still a bit wet! which made them less active, an a little easier to photograph.

Thanks for the comment.
Im always experimenting with different home made diffusers, so im pretty happy with the light in these images, considering im using the on-board camera flash.

Several more Bee images, using the same camera setup/settings/diffuser etc. No cropping to these images either. As usual, these are all "singles" (no stacking). Cheers paul.
