Reminds me of a lot of hot air balloons getting airborne at the same time -pretty cool :)

My thanks, Troels and Dalantech. These are the central buds of a "lacecap" hydrangea; they open into individual tiny flowers, but are most appealing at this stage, and yes, do look like hot air balloons! This was done with a new camera which can do focus shift internally, and was a stack of 20 with Zerene.
