These shots were taken using a Nikon DSLR and a Nikon manual macro light.
Most are obviously fungi. One might be a slime mold.

Number four is a Coral fungi. We had a patch in our yard in the same place for a number of years but it hasn't reappeared in two years.

Thanks for the input. These specimens are from a rather dense ans dank woods near the bike trail. I don't bother going there for fungi shots unless there has been sufficient rain to stimulate fungi growth. Perhaps your specimen needed more rain.

I think our landscaping guy dropped a couple of yards of peat moss on the site and screwed up the pH for the next 100 years.
