Finally, realized more of my ideas with 3D printing.
This one is what I posted before (I think) here, but with 3D printing, it is much neater. Note, the one showing light coming from and LED light is "reversed" view, light source in the picture should be where the [edit] subject [/edit] is, so it might show double ghosting. It is designed to take a glass from an UV filter, easily accessible item.

This one is designed to be attached to a lens (via filter thread or otherwise). Notice the 2nd one has everything blurred out except a bottle of medical alcohol -- light path is longer than vertical distance.
