I did a comparison of the EF100mm 2.8L and RF100mm 2.8 macro lenses a few months ago, and realized I never posted it it here. The test was a slanted edge MTF using mftmapper and a sharpened and blackened razor blade at 1x and 1.4x magnifications. More details HERE with a larger chart.
And working distance information:
I didnt quantitatively test the chromatic aberration of the lenses, but to my eye, the RF version was noticeably less.

Re: EF 100mm and RF 100mm comparison
Hi Steven
Interesting results thanks for sharing, there aren't a lot of RF Macro lens tests out there. So the RF peaks at f/5.0, thought it might be closer to f/4.
I would like to run a test someday of the newer lenses, RF and Z mount, but I'm still trying to figure out a plan to get that done, maybe I will have to borrow a Z body. I don't want to get into the situation of running/owning multiple camera systems. I did that for years, Canon and Nikon and it was a world of major hassles.
Best,
Robert
