Reading between the lines, it seems to use combined in-lens and sensor-shift image stabilization.
It is at the low end of the expected focal length range. Most were probably expecting (or hoping for) a 100-115 mm. No information yet on whether it stops at 1x or goes a little further.
Updated: according to 4/3 Rumors, the lens goes up to 4x, which if confirmed (the article cites "4x1", which should be written 4x or 4:1) would make it rather unique among modern macro lenses: https://www.43rumors.com/om-system-anno ... -macro-is/
All right, now the Olympus site says "4x in 35 mm equivalents", which actually means 2x (applying format-equivalents to magnification is pure nonsense at best), and the 4/3 Rumors site dropped half of the quotation and left only the "4x" part. Still a respectable achievement.
