Mysterious High-End Lens Any Ideas?
Any guesses? I'm testing it in about 5 minutes.
This is what I know, its definitely high-end image quality, superior fit and finish, dark-green lens coatings, expensive when new.
This is an OEM-private/no label version of a famous lens.
Super upscale optical correction.
Macro-Cosmos and RayP know already so don't spoil it guys!
Best,
Robert

Re: Mysterious High-End Lens Any Ideas?
CPS (CanonProService) had two of these in the loaner pool for a few years (1990s) until they were returned broken and then Canon stopped making parts, creating two big white paper weights. I tried a few times but was never able to borrow one. I was told by someone that used one that they were very sensitive to heatwaves, haze, etc, due to the small angle of view.chris_ma wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 5:56 pmSince we are on the topic of strange lenses:
