Hi, after several days of inhaling solder fumes, I bring you this article. What was supposed to take 2 hours ended up taking 3 days due to an apparently faulty cable. I use apparently because I can't find why, where, and how it malfunctioned.

These stages are a lot more intuitive to setup compared to industrial linear actuators in my opinion, but they are sort of scarce and sometimes not cheap. With Stackshot allowed limiter inputs and had support for a joystick. Either way, fiddling a touch screen is preferable to tactile buttons.
