Hello Leanderborg220,
system I build myself using Arduino
please take a look at that:
https://www.photomacrography.net/forum/ ... 41#p186841

COB-LED

flash ( 4 * YN660 )
https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=120 ... 0269581589
cheap flash/continueous
1/10s is the shortest, stable exposure time I use for the flash and the fully electronic shutter.
1/15 also works, but 1/20 no longer.
The longer exposure times as 1/5s, 1s, 2s, etc. can of course also be used.

Best, ADi

Hi Adalbert,
I see you are an electronics and diy guy like me
Nice system you have over there. It is very nice and satisfactoy when you build something for a fraction of the money you would need to spend when buying something that`s available. And on top of that you can make it function the exact way you need to.

I will be using these kind of leds, 100w and two 50watt instead of plasma flashes

I can see that you are trigerring the camera just the way I`m doing it using the infrared directtly from microcontroller.

Hopefully I will have the system running soon and start taking some photos. I`m still waiting for the articulating arms from aliexpress to attach those leds, and from there I will be able to start testing.
keep you informed

Hi Leander

I don't understand the point of this.
Since the table is so heavy, it vibrates as much as the floor.
But the table with about 100kg is very light compared to the concrete floor (with about 1000kg?).
If the heavy floor moves then the light table moves as well.
The table will not settle down until it is on vibration dampers that are precisely adjusted to its weight.

I am interested in comparisons.
Have you measured the vibrations without the 100kg table yet?

Kurt

Hi Kurt,
The intension of the 100kg top is not to dampen vabrations coming from the floor, but to dampen vibrations that a person might be doing on that same table, like for example using a computer keyboard or mouse.
