One more type of head to the my studio setup (it could be used for the horizontal also) - Nikon BHMJ adaptation to the 8020 type extrusion, using 3D printed sliding adapter
This time I used velcro instead coupler or magnets, it saved me space and it is more forgettable in the case of misalignment.
Instead BHMJ it could be used for the Arca-Swiss type plates, 1/4 standard screws or (using cheese type holes & 1/4 nuts) - other custom stuff.

Really great info, Saul! Thanks so much for posting all the detailed info you provide. Us beginners appreciate it.
On the velcro comment, did you mean "forgiving" instead of "forgettable"?

Hi Saul,
Great job!
Question: what about the backlash caused by velcro ?

Did not notice any, but please keep in mind - I'm using it in vertical setups only with microscopes or their blocks .

Re: Nikon BHMJ adaptation
Another very impressive design! I just got one of these recently--I have the boom stand attachment for it but it is 'conveniently' designed to take a 24.5mm post. This looks much nicer than that!
