Mine arrived today! It was broken but into four easily-handled pieces so it should be perfectly functional. I just had a quick look with coaxial illumination and I love it. Thanks for organizing this!

Interesting stuff, it's like wandering about in a labirynth. My first ever chip shot:

MPlan 60x/0.80

For the res. chart bit, 20x at 0.7 NA is the minimum. Anything below that renders mush.
The setup is sub-optimal as well, a coverglass is was needed since it wasn't a metallurgical objective.

I didn't understand the meaning of that. Is this a special area on the chip?

Yes that's a special section of the chip. Please look at the top post, there's a "navigation" image telling you where it should be. The highest mag. section was a 100x.

Mine also arrived today, about 8 pieces. Glued to a slide, all is well. Almost exactly 3 months...
