Those do look very interesting. Definitely curious about performance and pricing.

Re: shared reference silicon wafer for comparisons
I`m getting really confused about the coverage thing maybe because I`m still learning these things !
I assume that there should be a specification for circle coverage of an objective . I was assuming that coverage spec on sheet is listed as something like Real FOV (mm),(Eyepiece φ24mm)[mm], (Imaging device1/2-inch [mm].
Here below I`m comparing this spec [ON SHEET] of the Mitu 10x with the Sigma-koki 10x which are identical. So in reality there should be no difference in coverage I assume. Please correct me if I`m saying something wrong.

Re: shared reference silicon wafer for comparisons
Those datasheet coverage for ø24 eyepiece or 1/2" are the same, but on full frame camera you have 24x36mm sensor what needs a ø43mm image circle. Most microscope lenses do not cover this large image circle, at least not with sufficient resolving power. That is where Mitutoyo lenses shine.leanderborg220 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 4:46 amHere below I`m comparing this spec [ON SHEET] of the Mitu 10x with the Sigma-koki 10x which are identical. Thanks for clearing things lothman. So the specs are only valid for a 1/2" sensor or that relates also differently? I intend to use a crop frame camera.lothman wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 5:45 amThose datasheet coverage for ø24 eyepiece or 1/2" are the same, but on full frame camera you have 24x36mm sensor what needs a ø43mm image circle. In addition to Mitutoyos outperforming their nominal specs, it is a common thing to copy the original item's spec sheet whether your imitation really matches it or not.
