Hello all,
does anyone know where to get a 24mm diameter microscope post and possibly a base?
I found the amoscope on ebay but they are listed as 32mm.
Thanks

Re: 24mm microscope post
CNC cylindrical rails are my favorite source for precision stainless steel rods, but 24 mm is an unusual diameter (25 mm is common). I cannot exclude that some sellers of CNC parts carry the 24 mm rails, but I cannot find any on eBay at the moment.DavidG1980 wrote:Hello all,

24 mm precision seamless stainless steel tubes are easier to find, but I don't know how precise the diameter is. They may also be less stiff than solid rods, but I have seen some with 5mm or 7 mm thick walls, which might be stiff enough for a stereomicroscope.
