Different versions of EL-Nikkors

As you can see from the brochures the 68mm El Nikkor never existed. Must have been a typo.

Beware of this kind of evidence of what was, or was not made, by a manufacturer.

I have two copies of a lens which was only in development in any Tamron brochure I have seen and the complete range of bellows leses is hard to find in Olympus OM brochures.

Hi Jan,
Regarding the mysterious EL-68mm. I have seen one , they do exist, which is why their particular story intrigues me.
