I like the diffuser, good idea!! I have been using large styrofoam cups and also light tents (actually two, one inside the other) trying to get uniform lighting.
The tents work well with the 4 strobes in double diffused light boxes, but create a large setup.
I have been using the Ikea LED lamps with mixed results with the styrofoam cups, even tried the Ikea LEDs and the strobes but not in light boxes...just some inkjet paper covering the strobe dish opening..again mixed results.
Thanks for the diffuser idea, I'll give this a try.
Cheers,
Mike
BTW was just in your area visiting Honeywell. Man it was cold up there, being from Florida anything below 60F is cold and it was -9F this morning!!

On the littlites...I used the plastic from a milk jug for diffusion ;-)
the shroud is a plastic tumbler cut down short with a hole drilled..then sanded
cold as hell today too.
unfortunately there are no bugs out either...not much to play with yet.
