Avis Mitutoyo 20x MPlanApo version SL

Post by christophepelle »

Bonsoir,

No. It costs more and the resolution is much worse. Unless you have a very specific reason to need the extra working distance there's no reason for the SL. The normal 20x really has plenty of room for most lighting.

If I had a 20x SL I would sell it and buy a normal 20x.

The SL versions of Mitutoyo objectives seem difficult for owners to sell, for one of the reasons Scarodactyl said: They have much less resolution than non-SL versions. These SL objectives may be useful in some industrial applications, but are not a good choice for most photographers. So please beware of this "opportunity"!
