Alpha Filter

Post by Donw »

Litonotus:

Your filter has inspired me to build myself a better oblique, but still not as nice as yours. I am getting similar detail, but not the subject's colors.

Can you post a picture or diagram of your Alpha filter?

Thanks!

Don

Hello
This system is like I use in my patent
http://www.ebay.com/itm/170991588800?ss ... 1586.l2649
In the last plate, I put a patch, and when i go opening and closing i get the effect
I change the greys playing with the high of the condenser, also I can control the color in the sample like DIC with the polarizers and interference filters
PLEASE CHECK

Excellent imagery. May I ask what camera set up you use to get such good pictures.

The author of this thread has not been active on this forum for approaching 5 years.

Perhaps someone else who is familiar with Litonotus's equipment can answer the question.

PS. Yes, I know that the question by Antoni Scott revives a thread that is over 9 years old, with a pretty generic question that makes it look like a spam posting. However, I have good reason to think that the post is not spam, so I'm leaving it stand as written for now.

It is a remarkable technique which deserves further exploration for sure.
