Different scales

Post by Guppy »

Hi

On the back of the wings of the Odysseus butterfly (Papilio ulysses) there are some eyes with a crescent shape,
it is formed by many different scales.

Excellent - it looks like you get good results from the Nikon 40x on full frame.

Remarkable number of differently coloured scales adjacent and yes, I've not thought of this objective being that good!

Hi

I have learned a lot in this forum over the past 10 years and switched to Zerene Stacker.
A special thanks goes to Rik, the administrators of the Photomacrography Forum and the users.
It's a pleasure that you like my picture so much.

Great image! This made me want to use my BD Plan 40x ELWD more!

I assume you cleaned up some CA? Would you mind sharing how you did?

Hello Viktor

With the NIKON M Plan, 40/0.5 ELWD, 210/0 and the NIKON M Plan, 60/0.7 ELWD, 210/0
I have no problems with color fringes caused by CA.
But at full size, it is necessary to crop the image left and right to the square.

Kurt
