Hi everyone.
New here after finding the site when looking for how to do some extreme macro stuff. I currently do a bit of "normal" macro but would like to go further. Current equipment is
Canon 90D
Canon 100-400L
Canon 24-105L
Canon 10-22
Sigma 105 HSM DG Macro lens
I also use speedlights and diffusers for my shots.
My wife has an OMAX microscope with the following 4 objectives on it
http://omaxmicroscope.com/microscope-ac ... -1243.html
I figure maybe the 4x and 10x could be of use but not sure if they would work if I just got an RMS adapter to fit the 77mm thread on my lenses. I assume also that the 100-400 and the 24-105 will potentially be the best lenses to use if I was to want to do some image stacking on a micrometer adjusting rail.
Not even sure if these objectives are going to be any good in terms of quality or if they are the right kind for this setup. Any help would be much appreciated.
Also, what's the best way to adapt the objectives onto a 77mm lens?
Many thanks
Mark
Looking to get into extreme macro, what (else) do I need.

Mark, welcome aboard!
The link you give doesn't work for me. The quite similar link https://omaxmicroscope.com/achromatic-m ... -1242.html describes a set of finite objectives, which are designed to be used on empty extension, not added in front of a telephoto lens.
You can tell for sure what your wife's scope has by reading the labels on the objectives. If they say "160/0.17" then they're finite, intended to be used with empty extension. If they say "∞/0.17" then they're infinite, intended to be used in combination with another lens.
We have a FAQ thread on using objectives like you're talking about, see FAQ: How can I hook a microscope objective to my camera?
Again, this is intended to be used only with infinite objectives. Different brands of objectives have different threads.

Something like https://www.ebay.com/itm/RMS-female-to- ... 2931245518 .what's the best way to adapt the objectives onto a 77mm lens?
