Canon R5 with Canon RF 70-200mm and Nikon Plan 10x/0.25, Infinity corrected WD 10.5 objective

Post by NewForestTel »

Following my post last week about problems using the Nikon Objective with my rig. The valued advice that I received was the plane of the camera and the subject my not have been setup correctly. I was also using a Canon 1D MkIV and it was suggested that I use mirror lockup.
I forgot to mention that I have a Canon R5 camera and a Canon RF 70-200mm lens.
Does anyone have any comments on using this combination with the Nikon objective attached to the front of the Canon RF 70-200mm lens.
The RF is mirrorless which should help. I can set it to Crop format, if necessary.
If there are problems associated with this combination I would appreciate any information.
However all comments will be gratefully received
Many thanks for your anticipated help.
