Thanks Pau, I hadn't recognized it as that. Or rather, the upper part of the first image looks very different from what I have come used to recognize as fluorescent imagery.
The resolution is much better than what you'd get by ordinary LM. I guess the built in deconvolution pocessor is at least partially responsible for that.

Absolutely fabulous stuff. I am just amazed. I spent a fair bit a time staring through microscopes in years in the lab during my graduate work and post doc, and the only thing that I can compare this to for the sheer beauty of the images is Drosophila embryos... But even those pale next to these. Wow.
