Stunning images! I’m inspired! I’ve ordered some powder so that I can have a go. Is there a reason why you use Vodka, would Ethanol work or is some water content important?

I think I’ve found the answer to my question. Apparently Beta-Alanine is only slightly soluble in 100% Ethanol and L-Glutamine isn’t so I’m thinking that the alcohol’s presence helps create a thinner layer of crystals on the slide.
