Bought a cheap microscope but with full size objectives etc (SWIFT Microscope SW150 £68 on offer). Managed to attach a camera body using a telescope mount plus some pipe lagging and then used a couple of LED lamps to illuminate the subjects whilst I took some focus stacks just using the fine focus knob at 10X. The results seemed surprisingly good to me. The microscope was intended as a present for one of my granddaughters.
