Acridine Orange staining and Fluorescence Microscopy

Post by Robert Berdan »

I am attaching some images taken with a Fluorescence microscope (Nikon Optiphot) and specimens stained with 1 microgram\ml Acridine orange in water with UV excitation and green (FITC) emission filter. Acridien stains nuclei (DNA) green, RNA and lysosomes (red).
