Paracetamol polarized

Post by Purpuricenus »

This is an image taken at my monocular microscope, that I transformed into a polarizing microscope at home, by adding two filters (one in the body as revealing and one rotating on the condenser).
The subject is paracetamol, the slide was prepared by solving a common paracetamol pill in a solution of 50% ethanol and 50% ethile acetate, two common organic solvents.
100x, cross polarization using my iphone as camera (the compact camera I usually use wasn’t able to make a correct exposure).
Does anyone know how to upload images right after the text?

Important: keep the images within forum limitations: maximum 1024px wide or high and maximum 300kb

Close!
This is the culprit:

I'll check you default settings, and clear the box. You can change it for each post if you wish.
