Beautiful image. Can you be more specific about the kind of polarization you used? Thanks!

I'm looking for the the extemely rare V-IM magnification changer for the E800 scope. If you have seen a listing or have one for sale please let me know.

It was used polarization with plastic foil as a compensator :)

Thanks, but there are many kinds of polarization. Do you mean "cross polarization" of transmitted light? What is the "compensator"? Sorry if I do not understand. I am new at this. You can refer me elsewhere for more information...

This is interesting to me because I also have to image plant parts.

Yes, I meant polarization of transmited light. As the compensators I use various plastic foils (cellophane, pieces of magazines wraps etc.).
I do not have ready links to refer you but if you look for "polarizing microscopy" in Google you will certainly find many materials on it.
My polarizer and plastic compensator lie on the microscope base and analizer is inserted into trinocular head. I do not have the special component with proffesional compensator which should be placed between microcope frame and head. The method is very simple and quite effective.

Thank you Marek, especially for explaining the compensator. With that information I can begin to work and learn more.
