I was brought some samples a few days ago by a carp breeder and took these photos:

Zeiss fliptop condenser, top lens flipped out
Brightfield

Live specimens anaesthetised with lidocaine hydrochloride

Image stacks with Zerene. Backgrounds edited. Contrast adjusted + sharpened on resize.

Though we lean upon the same balustrade, the colours of the mountain are different.
