The patterns formed by these rear appendages on these tiny crustaceans are fun to examine. While I normally avoid the colorful results possible with the DIC slider, opting for a more "natural" look, I could not resist trying a couple of colorful abstract renditions of this subject.

A beautiful display Charlie :D If one did not know, you would think they were the feathers of some bird.
