You don't see much of them around where you live ....

... and several ND gels attached. They are not dimmable I presume. Ever tried polarizing gels? What type or brand is this videolight? Fantastic photos and magnification, and an impressive rig. I use the same Olympus BHMJ focus block, and prefer to use it for the Z-axis. I see you use it only for X-...

Incredible. The Ever Evolving Bradcam.
I'm waiting for the moment when The Bradcam is catching prey, rapidly cools down the subject, start focus stacking it, after which it posts the results to the Forum and releases the specimen ....:)

The Equipment Exchange section of this forum is a good place to start.
Someone might have it lying around or is willing to sell.

Great info, Espen. I only know the term Kryp from the work of John Hallmén. I do like the heavy vise iron holder you use in your setup, not the first thing that spring to mind when looking for a solid base but I guess it's heavy and thus very stable. The photo's in the article are indeed razorsharp.

I like the cleanliness and perfection of the Bradcam, but I also like how you manage to make excellent photos's with a setup like this.
I have absolutely no critique on your rig but are those tubes glued together? What's that you use as XYZ Stand/focus block? What's its origin?

Both microscope objective I mentioned have proven to work very well in photomacrography but there are good alternatives. Be careful when buying a random microscope objective. I have travelled that road and in search for the Holy Grail in objectives I ended up with a bunch of glass that was either fa...

Not a set I would expect to see from a poster in the ''Beginners Macro" section. The hardware you are using is high grade and certainly not "modest"; you already have some the best ingredients. With the Sigma 105 as tubelens you could theoretically do 5X and a bit, using a 10X microscope objective. ...

µ typed in as Alt-0181, directly hitting Submit....

Edit: Indeed, if hit Submit after an emptied Preview you end up with the message:
"You must enter a message when posting", that's where I got stuck.
Directly submitting seems to work fine ......

The Plot thickens....

..Just a bold idea: could the underlaying DB be the cause of this?
Could MySQL (or whatever DB Engine is running PM.Net) be the cμlprit?
