Hi, Nice single shot ! If you had completely stacked the bee with the Raynox, you probably wouldn't have bought the Laowa :-) I have also realised that the Raynox does not deliver good results with every lens :-( But I know there are macro photographers, especially those who take photographs of live...

Re: Pyrite 40x, 3d model included
Hello,
I like the illumination, the 3D model too.
You can clearly see what the mineral looks like on the 3D model.
Stereo would probably also work well.

Re: some scales
Thank you for your response. I have been trying out various depth map generators on Hugging Face such as MiDaS, ZoeDepth, then Photoshop beta, Davinci Resolve, and also paid services like Leiapix. Although not for Diatoms, I was just interested in knowing how you dealt with a similar scenario. Hell...

3d model (on click): Adalbert, I'm curious if you've experimented with generating a 3D model using a depth map and using Blender sculptural mode to smooth out the displacement edges. -JW: Hello James, OK, I create my 3D models with Blender based on the depth map of Zerene. I use the depth map as a ...

Hello everyone,
And a GIF animation based on Rocking Stereo.
BTW, the reduction in size of GIF files is more noticeable than that of JPG files

Re: Scales thread
Hi Macrero,
OK, do you think the quality is better now than without the cover glass
or with the cover glass directly on the scales ?

Hello Macrero,
Great photo, super resolution.
But what did you glue?
BTW, I am always amazed when I see
how much the scales differ from butterfly to butterfly.
